Nice big ship with so much fun stuff to do! The Boardwalk, Central Park, Zipline, Carousel, mini golf, Aqua Show, Ice Skating Show - all excellent! Good food choices in Main Dining Room. Loved The Mason Jar and Giovanni's for Specialty Dining. Excellent service all around.
-- Weather was not great, so we did not make it to the Bahamas at all. Royal emailed us the night before to tell us about the itinerary change. Went to Labadee, Haiti (their "Private Beach Destination"). Had a little bit of time on the beach before lunch, then a storm came through: wind, rain, thunder, lightning -- it was really pretty awesome!!! We made the most of it and enjoyed the spectacle! Ship left port about 2 hours early due to high winds. Crazy!
Great cruise with my friends! Halloween festivities were a blast!

Food and Dining

*We had three dinners in the Main Dining Room. Service was excellent. Food was great: I love the Caesar salad, the Caribbean chicken/Jerk pork, Beef Tenderloin, and there was a chocolate dessert that was yummy!
*Went to the Buffet for breakfast: try the chocolate croissants (!!), I also enjoyed the sausage links, pancakes, and French Toast. Loved the "Washy-washy" guy singing as you enter!!
*Brunch at The Mason Jar was excellent: try the jalapeño corn bread - delicious!! And we shared fried Oreos for dessert - wow!! Service was outstanding, and nice ocean view.
*Giovanni's for dinner was delicious! Bread, Fettuccine Alfredo, Chicken Parmigiana, and Tiramisu. I actually tried the Chocolate Ravioli, it was SO yummy! Great service and location.
* Cafe Promenade - very convenient for snacks and drink station. Try the Thai pasta salad(!).
** Went to Johnny Rockets just to grab a shake. Service was SO great that we ended up staying and ordering the whole meal deal: burger, fries, and soda. Everything was delicious!

We went to the stage show the first night - mostly good.
Live Jazz music was great.
** Aqua Show was THE BEST!!!! Performers were amazing!! **
Ice Skating show was very good. (a little underwhelming compared to shows in past years)
- They had a walk-through Haunted House since it was over Halloween - lots of FUN!
Children's Programs
We did not travel with any kids, but it looked like all the kids there were enjoying themselves.
Service and Staff

Our Room Steward was wonderful! Wait staff / service in MDR was great. Waiter at Johnny Rockets - excellent. Wait staff / service at The Mason Jar and Giovanni's was outstanding.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Ship seemed very clean, especially since it is still so new - it's beautiful! Love the different "neighborhoods", the Boardwalk and Central Park. The only part of the ship that doesn't make sense to me is Deck 4 - The Attic and Studio B. Venues are too small and hard to find. Overall, great ship layout!
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
This is an inward-facing Balcony room overlooking The Boardwalk. Some may not appreciate the noise from below, only when you're out on the balcony, but we enjoyed it and all the action & people watching. The room was spacious enough for 3 adults. The bathroom was good size and had the biggest shower I've seen on a ship! There were still lots of creaking sounds at night, probably because it's so new, but it did not bother us.
Ship tip
Go eat at Cafe Promenade or Central Park Cafe for snacks or lunch, especially the first day. Try new things on the ship!
We stayed at a cute Villa in Cape Canaveral for two nights before cruise. Walked to the beach, ate at a fun Tiki Bar, easy to drive around our rental car to Cocoa Beach. Embarkation goes very smoothly at Port Canaveral - very organized.
