Review summary

We were late getting back on board the ship in Lahina. A wreck had occured and we were within 7 miles of the ship. The wreck closed the highway down and there was nothing we could do be sit. We started calling the port authority and told them what was going on. They notified the Capt. Since we were out on our own it was not the Cruise Company's responsibility. We understood this and also understood they did not have to hold the ship for us. But they did and many more details how hard they worked to help us work out this problem. They could have had I don't care attitude, but they didn't. They were absolutely FANTASTIC. I wish I could give the praise this crew deserves.

Ports of call

Lahaina, Maui

We did sugar cane museum, drove up a crater, Walmart etc. It was wonderful, other than the wreck that held us up. We had two hours to go 21 miles and it took us over 3 hours.

Nawiliwili, Kauai

My favorite island. Wish we would have had more time there!

Hilo, Hawaii

We needed two days for this island. The black sand beach, the valcanoe and the Macadameia Nut fields all excellent.

Pros: The crew. We had one of the best crews of any ship we have been on.

Cons: The transfer from the port to SEATAC airport. It had too many stops and took too long.
