Review summary

We wanted to show our Canadian cousin a bit of Queensland while spending some quality time together this cruise ticked all the boxes. Nice food, some light entertainment and a chance to relax.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
Delays due to extra cleaning but not too bad.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Anytime dining was fine. Not much of a delay for seating. Service and food was not as good as my previous experience. Last night of the cruise was probably the worst. Tried Curtis Stone, was not impressed. The buffet was fine plenty of variety.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Enjoyed the pool deck, watched the ice carving and went to a detox talk. Liked the promenade deck and met a few new people walking laps.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Loved the ship's stage shows and musicians. Chris Powley was very entertaining but the comedian was a bit sad. Definitely not as funny as he thought he was.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
My room steward was wonderful. The staff in the international café and the buffet seemed to work tirelessly to make sure everyone was served and sanitation was maintained to limit the spread of illness.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Staff were constantly cleaning and working on repairs.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
As I had the cabin to myself size was fine and being on the pool deck was convenient.

Ports of call

Brisbane, Australia

3 out of 5
Stayed Portside so it was convenient, nice shops and restaurants.

Airlie Beach, Queensland, Australia

4 out of 5
Did the crocodile cruise. Highly recommend it.

Yorkey's Knob (Cairns), Australia

4 out of 5
Love Cairns. Didn't do any excursions. Just wandered around the Esplanade and checked out the markets.

Port Douglas, Australia

4 out of 5
Did the outer reef pontoon. Highly recommended.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Everything went smoothly. Had breakfast in the buffet after leaving the room the waited for the call to disembark.

Not sure what you want. I enjoyed myself. It was a short break from everyday life.

So you had a good cruise, eh? The food was good, eh? You were able to relax and be entertained, eh? Nothing to add to your review (eh?).
