This was our second cruise, first time on Princess. In comparison to our first cruise on Holland America’s Eurodam, here was what was MUCH BETTER: the beds were totally AMAZING; the dining room food was really great and we ended up with a FABULOUS waiter (Dejan) in anytime dining; drip coffee was very good; and, ship cleanliness. Things that could needed MUCH improvement: disembarkation!! There was never any communication about which deck gangway was to be used for each port; they never told us where to line up until AFTER the gangway would get crowded with people; and the speciality coffee at International Cafe was weak and had very little flavor. DO NOT waste your money on the coffee package! Also, the last night, upon return from Victoria, there was NO WHERE to get food except International Cafe.

I went with a bunch of friends, a couple of whom were celebrating 40th Birthdays. I am glad I had this experience, because I was thinking of taking my family on a cruise and after this experience, I have had a change of mind.

Ship is well maintained. I upgraded to Penthouse house suite. Very spacious. Love the jacuzzi tub a feature they don't have on royal princess: (. The weather was over cast and foggy but people enjoyed themselves. When arriving in Vancouver the weather was beautiful. Would sail this ship again.

Just sailed the Star Princess service was flawless so much so that I would say it ranked with Celebrity Cruise. We just booked the Royal food was good service everywhere was just perfect

A great time, the food as always was excellent, and the casino play was really great.

Sailed on her March 30th 2019 on a 28nt Hawaii & Polynesian cruise . The ship was fine but no wow factor you would get on the large RCI ships . MDR food was ok but nothing special . Buffet same as above . Pizza & Burger bar on deck was really nice . Snacks salads & panini’s in atrium was very good . Waiter service & bar service was exceptional. Balcony cabin was nice with decent storage but let down with a tiny shower which had a curtain . Entertainment was average , nothing blew us away . The itinerary is the reason we booked this cruise & for me the highlights were my trip to Pearl Harbour which was magnificent. Also a day out around Waikiki beach . The scenery when sailing into the Polynesian islands were amazing . Met some wonderful people on this trip , but prefer the big modern cruise ships .

Each day got better and better. This was my first cruise and I absolutely do this cruise again..... in a heartbeat.

I highly recommend this trip if you want to experience Polynesia. Many sea days, but because of the Great Captain, Awesome Cruise Director, a Bartender named NEMO (yes, that is his real name!) this trip couldn't have been any better. Numerous activities if you want, plenty of quiet sea gazing days if you want, it's all there.

Overall, I would rate the cruise an 8 out of ten. I wasn't impressed with the food selection. Too much garlic. The staff was excellent.

It was a great cruise. We had to miss 2 ports due to flight cancellation. But once on the ship it was nice. We had the same Captain we had on our cruise to Panama Canal (best captain ever) also had a bartender we also had on another cruise. Loved our

We had an awesome time on this cruise. The crew was very friendly and helpfull. And even the weather was great.

A good time, although I found 16 days to be a bit too long; many days at sea become boring

Wonderful Cruise. Saw some amazing scenery and met some lovely people. This was a trip we won't forget. We love the Star Princess. The ship is not too big to get around and the staff were amazing. The captain was one in a million. Such a friendly and funny man. Made us laugh every day.

This ship was not our favorite but we booked for the itinerary, not the ship, and enjoyed our cruise very much. Fish entrees in the dining room were quite good, but everything else we tried was pretty mediocre compared to past trips. Food in the steakhouse was excellent and well worth the added cost. Buffet was average at best and quite small. Pizza on lido deck was good. Entertainment was mixed, some good performances and some not so good. Enjoyed the tango show that was brought onboard in Buenos Aires. The port lectures and enrichment lectures were fantastic - and very popular - so get there early to get a seat! As mentioned by other reviewers, the AC in cabins is terrible. The coldest setting is much too warm and makes it difficult to get a good night's sleep, especially if you're used to colder climates. We loved the new princess mattresses, very comfy. Likely to be too soft for those who like a firm mattress but we enjoyed them. Promenade deck was our happy place to enjoy the sea breeze and the views. I love ships with wraparound promenade decks and this is one of them. Tender process to get ashore was pretty painless and well organized at each of the 3 tender ports on our cruise (get in line early!) We had no issues getting ashore in a timely manner to meet our independent tours. Long queues to get back onboard at the end of the day though as many tours finished at the same time. Overall, great cruise on an average ship who is nearing the end of her time with Princess I believe I read somewhere.

I feel like i experienced so much over the course of 2 weeks! This was the first time I traveled in South America and it was one of the best ways to visit many places in a short time.

FANTASTIC TRIP - Staff & crew go above & beyond to ensure you have fun! More than enough to see, eat or do in all categories. If you find fault, you better look at yourself first. ONLY ONE BIG ISSUE: Improved passenger behaviour (it’s a spitting, snorting cultural action) when it comes to hygiene that absolutely needs addressing.

We thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the cruise. Available excursions were good and most of the guides were excellent,

The weather was bad during both the trip to and from Hawaii so ship board activities were limited. The destination was great, weather and activities. I got bored with the food. Too many repetitions especially in the buffet, which we used for breakfast and lunch. The entertainment was good. We especially enjoyed the ventriloquist, the guitarist and the older comedian.
