A unique experience by WinterZone

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Star Princess / Destination: Hawaii

We found the cruise a unique experience, nothing wrong with it. We would not choose a cruise again, would rather fly to Maui and rent a condo with kitchen for vacation.

Fun Overnight Cruise by LandJ

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Star Princess / Destination: U.S. - Pacific, Northwest

Overnight cruise is too short, but it gives a newbie a taste of cruising and an easy way to get credit for a cruise for loyalty points.

First time on the star princess.. absolutely gorgeous day in Seattle this was a repositioning Cruise had a fantastic time the food was spot-on even though this was just a one-day trip they definitely know how to treat the passengers on princess. by Ranger01

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Star Princess

Sunny day in Seattle went to the public market Road the train send the Rainier Beer plant very very fun day make sure you wear comfortable shoes it's definitely needed. Really cool that you can drop your bags off at the airport and they will end up in your room and you can spend the day in Seattle before getting on the boat

Great first cruise! by 40pinklady

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Star Princess / Destination: Coastal - West Coast

This was our first cruise and now we are excited for the next one which will be to Alaska. The minute we got on ship we were "on vacation" to the minute we left. Every thing and everyone was over the top more than I could of imagined. Thank you, until next time.

Small dated Ship. by rogue12

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Star Princess / Destination: Coastal - West Coast

It was a small ship. Small cabin. Smelled like a sewage dump on deck 12 while in SanFrancisco. Dumping the holding tanks I guess.

West Coast Cruise by skoolmom

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Star Princess / Destination: Coastal - West Coast

This was a great get away for us because we didn't need to fly anywhere. Many people on this cruise were from Washington which made Seattle a great port. All the ports were great walking cities and you didn't need to book an excursion to have fun. The weather was good. There was no rain the entire week and we went from cold in Seattle and Astoria to warmer in San Francisco and Monterey. There were some younger people on this cruise, but the majority were at retirement age. Very few children were on this cruise. Princess does not have all the water slides, and activities you will find on Carnival or RC, but that's nice for making this a relaxing time. The food and service is exceptional.

Pacific Northwest Cruise by taznremmy

The crew and staff on the Star Princess are what made it so special. They seem to really like their jobs, and each other, and it showed. Look forward to sailing on her again soon.

My best cruise so far by madel

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Star Princess

This cruise for me is my best cruise. The staff are very nice and funny. They are happy all the time and glad to serve. The bonus part is that there were 4 nominees for entertainer of the year and we get to watch them all. Doug funk[comedian] is very funny and I enjoyed his skits but also the winner for the entertainer of the year Philip Browne(voice of mufasa) also has an amazing act. If you want to get some niknaks for souvenir wof the 10 $ outlet near the end of the cruise. The captain Micheal Tulvo is also amazing and funny.

This was a nice relaxing cruise. The ports of call were interesting and we loved the excursions we took to Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, and the beautiful Butchart Gardens.

ALASKA In September by Buzan1010

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Star Princess / Destination: Alaska - Inside Passage

We had a wonderful time. The only bummer was the time we docked at Victoria. It would have been great to have a complementary shuttle to take you into town. We got there late , almost dark and left at midnight. It was not a lit walking path and the path was uneven. If they want your money in the town, they should find a way to get you there. Eat at Tracy’s ! So yum Yum! The best meal on the trip! The best meal on the ship was a pasta ravioli dish I had one night. Love the desserts!

Waste of money by davidlsr1949

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Star Princess / Destination: Alaska - Inside Passage

This was my fifth cruise. Very disappointed. This cruise is for old folks. Excursions are for young folks. Everything was way overpriced. Won’t do Princess again. Other cruise’s the employees spoke English better and understood it better. First cruise wit rude employees.
