Review summary

Older crowd on this ship for sure. The staff did a great job at knowing their audience and making sure the elderly enjoyed their time. Not many children on the ship which made it much more relaxing. Fun activities such as bingo, trivia, gameshows, the voice of the ocean, and even an escape room you can participate in for an additional small fee. Staff was friendly for the most part, some seemed annoyed to be working.

Food was delicious especially at the international cafe (Try the pistachio croissant!) The desserts at the horizon court seemed very dry and bland.

Very clean and comfortable. Looked like someone punched the wall in one area though and the phone cord was damaged.

Ship tip

If you're sailing the 15 nights to Hawaii... make sure you know what you're in for. My husband and I did great but met many sea sick passengers. (This is not a good first time cruise, first time cruisers should choose a shorter cruise)

We walked around for about an hour before deciding to just get back on the ship... nothing to do at this port but have people chasing you and yelling at you to look at their items and buy their stuff. We've been to other ports in Mexico and they've all been fun... We would not recommend this port unless you have an excursion planned.

Lahaina, Maui

This was our favorite port. So beautiful and rich in nature. Didn't even have an excursion, just walked around and took an uber to Kaanapali beach.

Visited the black sand beaches, volcanoe winery, orchid garden, coffee plantation, rainbow falls, and had a Hawaiian style BBQ. Great excursion!

Big tropical city with beautiful beaches. Definitely recommend a Luau!
