Review summary

I found as a solo woman traveler I was treated very well by the crew. The table service restaurants gave me the option of sitting alone or with other passengers. I chose the latter and had wonderful meals with others onboard the ship. I never encountered any rude or obnoxious crew and everyone acted in a very professional manner. I was a little hesitant about the room I had booked due to where it was, but found that it was very quiet. I'm also prone to motion sickness and didn't get sick at all during the cruise in this room. Yes if you look closely the ship does show it's age, but you have to look very closely to find minimal signs of wear and tear. The medical emergency we did have 1 morning on my cruise the crew members handled it in a very professional manner., They were well organized as they helicoptered the sick guest off the ship. I would not hesitate to cruise with PCL again.

I was in cabin E316. I found it to be very quiet and less motion than when the family sailed on NCL midship and on a upper deck last year when we went to Alaska. I was charged double, but caught a great deal 75 days out that made it viable. I also enjoyed dining in their main dining room and getting the option of dining with other cruiser s. I really enjoyed it and wish that NCL would give solo travelers the same option...

We usually eat dinner by ourselves, but when we go to Sea Day brunch we like sitting with others to hear their stories of the ships that they have been on and the excursions they have done. You get a lot of first-hand great information and meet some of the nicest strangers you could ever meet and wind up lifelong friends

Sounds great. What cabin were you in? Since the cabins are usualy booked double occupancy, do they charge more for a single person? Thanks
