Great ship and crew!

Sail Date: March 31, 2007

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Balcony

Ship was impressive and had a lot of what today's travelers are looking for. It was Very clean and had a great layout of the outdoor activitiy areas. Never felt overcrowded at the pool even with the ship being 100% full.

Pros: Ship's layout of pools and outdoor activities

Cons: Inconsistent level of dinning room service with anytime seating option.

Recommends Star Princess? Yes!

Cozumel, Mexico
Fun place to get those items that will remind you of the trip for many years to come and not break the bank. Don't be afraid to bargin hard and counter offer to pay prices that make you blush. Its all part of the fun and sometimes you really can get it for that price.
George Town, Grand Cayman
If you like higher end shopping, this is the place for you. In search of a specific jewlery item? Do your homework and you'll find it at a great price here and pay no tax!
Ocho Rios, Jamaica
As someone who goes here a lot for business, I know Jamaica is a destination that offers a lot to someone who really knows the island. Initial impressions by first time visitors are, unfortunately, usually negative due to the "look". If you stick to the recommended tours and take normal precautions any traveler should, you will have a great time.
Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)
Unfortunately, our day here was windy and rainy. The tender service getting to the island was an adventure due to the sea conditions and many decided not to even go. With good conditions I believe this would be a great place to end your ports of call. Just wish cruise lines would invest in dockable locations for their private islands and drop the tender service. The one owned by the "mouse" company has and it makes all the difference.
