Review summary

This trip was in celebration of our 60th wedding anniversary.  We have been to Hawaii many times before, but had always flown.  Here the cruise was the vacation.  We especially enjoyed the "Ultimate Ship Tour" where we were able to see behind the scenes of the working areas of the Star Princess.  We toured the galley, engine room, print shop, photo shop, theater backstage, food storage, and finally the bridge, with a personal visit with the captain.  Lots of entertainment, great food, many special interest groups to meet.  Wonderful fifteen days.

Always kept clean, neat and well stocked. Eddie was a great steward.

Ship tip

My husband is not into formal dining, so I agreed before we left that we would stick to casual dining in the Horizon Court. The food and presentation were always excellent. Unfortunately, we both gained five pounds.

When you get off your ship in Santa Barbara please stop at our welcome tent to pick up a new map we hand out. You probably don't need a map in our little city but the map has lots of 2 for 1 coupons on it and you can save some money while visiting Santa Barbara. Ask for Buffalo Joe so I can meet you and congratulate you two on the 60 th.
