Review summary
Ship was impressive and had a lot of what today's travelers are looking for. It was Very clean and had a great layout of the outdoor activitiy areas. Never felt overcrowded at the pool even with the ship being 100% full.
Unfortunately, our day here was windy and rainy. The tender service getting to the island was an adventure due to the sea conditions and many decided not to even go. With good conditions I believe this would be a great place to end your ports of call. Just wish cruise lines would invest in dockable locations for their private islands and drop the tender service. The one owned by the "mouse" company has and it makes all the difference.
As someone who goes here a lot for business, I know Jamaica is a destination that offers a lot to someone who really knows the island. Initial impressions by first time visitors are, unfortunately, usually negative due to the "look". If you stick to the recommended tours and take normal precautions any traveler should, you will have a great time.
