If you can find a better cruise line such as Seabourn at the same or slightly higher price point, I'd go for that because the experience is night-and-day.

Food excellent in main dining room "Amphora" and speciality restaurants "Candles" and the tapas place... desserts overall not good. Deck BBQ and beach day BBQ were weak, food tasted mass produced, sloppy stations at times (self-serve vs. crew serve), BBQ should be improved
Onboard Activities

Pool small for 300 passengers, could use another hot tub or two as well as there always seemed to be a wait. Gym was decent but again filled up - need a larger space.
Entertainment

Shows and entertainment was not up to par... the same band nightly (they worked hard), not upbeat, not a party vibe despite cruisers wanting to have fun. Some people brought their own mini speakers and played music due to lack of music.

New cabin, very nice, but the bed had a split and it would come apart at night. I would not go on this ship in one of the older rooms.
Appreciate your details. Your expectations are actually a bit of a surprise to those of us who sail on the bigger “mass” cruise lines. Glad you know where to find that level of pampering. Sorry this cruise didn’t meet your expectations.
