Review summary
I have been on a Royal Carribean cruise before where we visited France, Italy, and Spain. We loved it! Because we liked it so much, we thought it would be nice to have a weekend getaway and the cruise was very reasonably priced. Having said that, we did not enjoy our cruise as much this time. It left on a Friday and returned Monday, which means you have Sat. and Sunday in the Bahamas. Due to the weather, we were not able to dock on Sunday - so we were unexpectantly stuck on the boat all day. That was very disappointing since we had booked our excursions for Sunday. Although, we got a refund, I wish I was able to snorkle and scuba dive in the Bahamas! Also, the food this time was just ok. Due to the weather, the boat was very rocky this time. Overall, we did not enjoy this cruise as much as liked our first one. We thought this was too short of a cruise. We would have rather spent a little more to fly directly to Bahamas and have more time there. I think if we were to go on a cruise again, it would have to be a week long, where you get to see alot and the cruise is more of a hotel for you. I felt like the day at sea was very boring. However, I would probably cruise again with Royal Carribean. I suggest if you want to go on this cruise, be sure the weather is warm like April-September. March was a bit cold and not as enjoyable as we had hoped. Overall, I was disappointed in the trip because although we made the best of it, we traveled all the way from Cali to spend 2 days in the Bahamas and only got to see it for 1 day!Ship experiences
