Review summary

It was great to be back cruising again after a year and a half. Princess did all that was necessary to make the cruise as normal as possible in a difficult situation.

Embarkation

The embarkation process was not bad considering the amount of additional Covid related checking that needed to be done. The process was slowed by some passengers unaware that they needed to complete a Passenger Locator Form. On board in an hour after arrival at terminal. Covid testing was well organised.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

We felt the menus in the main dining room were not very exciting and ended up eating there only once. That said the meal that night was excellent. Food in the speciality restaurants was very good particularly in the Crown Grill and the Sushi bar. Alfredos Pizza was excellent. Buffet was so so but there Italian night was very good.

Onboard Activities

Mixed range of activities including trivia. Could do with a bigger venue for the trivia though.

Entertainment

4 out of 5

Only one production show - Rock Opera which was very good. A group called Westenders did three shows of west end musical which was also very good. I believe they are having difficult with production shows and social distancing.

Excellent large suite at front of ship with two views forward and to the port side.

I think I found out what the passenger locator form is. The Sky is currently sailing in the UK And it’s a form for that country. We are sailing out of Florida.
