Review summary

20th Regent Cruise. New ships don't disappoint. Service was exceptional, but helped by having only 2/3 of guest capacity. This itinerary was great, but not relaxing with a port everyday and long tours at the end. But if you are into history and site seeing, eastern Med is great. First time in Israel for me. With 3 days on ship and 3 days post cruise, we covered a lot of ground. We lost one port (Alanya) due to rerouting to address covid protocols in Israel, but it probably wasn't a port on which most people picked the itinerary. I was looking forward to it since it was new for me.

Great Service and Presentation across all venues. Specialty restaurants don't disappoint.

Onboard Activities

Regent isn't for deck activities. But it is for lounging by the pool and having drinks. And there are plenty of activities for those who want them.

Entertainment

Regent's entertainment had improved since NCL bought them, but this was a big step backward. The Production Cast had some really bad female vocalists (including the headliner - Katie). The male vocalists were pretty good. Dancers were good. The guest acts were not of interest and didn't stay for much of their shows. Regent Band was excellent. Gino the pianist was very good.

Great layout, plenty of room in bath with 2 sinks, separate shower and tub. Walk in closet more than enough. Plenty of other storage spaces. Big balcony. Regent has made this type of room great.

Disappointed with their air travel program..they seem to have a long lag between consumer requests and actual booking..seems like it would cause more issues than necessary
