Great Itinerary! OK ship

Sail Date: August 09, 2012

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Balcony

I loved the itinerary & the staff. Our family/ group had a great time. The ship is older and does not have the amenities of the newer RCCL ships so that took some getting used to. It also made it very hard to take advantage of the coupon books that they give to Crown and Anchor members since many did not apply to the older ships.

Pros: Itinerary

Cons: Accommodations

Recommends Serenade of the Seas? Yes!

Ship Quality
Loved the ship size- it was very easy to get around. It was also very clean. However they lacked many of the great amenities that the newer ships have.
Food and Dining
Our wait staff was fabulous ( Hugo). But the food was just \"good\". The food at Chops was amazing!
Cabin / Stateroom
Our room stewart was great ( Brito). He even kept our sons' room in order ( 3 boys). But the bed\, shower\, and tv were old.
Service and Staff
Excellent! Can't say enough!
Entertainment
The shows were just OK but the cruise directory\, Ricky\, and his staff were so much fun!
