Review summary

We were a family of 10 first-time cruisers and we all loved this ship and the ports. On board, we loved exploring all of the activities, but we know we didn't hit them all. THe cruise director, Mark, was awesome!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We were pampered at dinner with attentive waiters. The variety of the menu was great, with healthy choices always included. The dining room felt elegant and the Windjammer Cafe was busy but never crowded. A huge variety of choices and accessibility at all dining areas.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The shows were good quality and entertaining, with variety appealing to a lot of different interests. It wasn't hard to get in for a seat so programming worked well. Because we were in ports for 6 of the 7 days, we didn't take advantage of many of the offerings onboard.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
My 7-year old enjoyed the kids club, even though we didn't take full advantage of it since we were off ship so many of the days. We liked the availability of the evening kids club until 10 pm. Took advantage of babysitting one night...expensive because they send two sitters. We would have liked to maybe combine families to share price, but not allowed.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone I met was friendly and helpful. Sometimes I feel, though, that they are overworked! To work 7 days a week for months on end.....I can't even fatthom it!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Not too big, not too small. Loved all of the views of the sea from everywhere. The centrum was beautiful.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
They say the ship is going to be updated, but it still looked beautiful. The old TVs will probably go, as well as getting new carpet. OTher than that, I thought it still looked new.

Pros: The variety of ports

Cons: Wish there was a swim area for non-potty-trained children
