Review summary

This cruise was our 10th anniversary celebration, and we are happy with our choice. This was our 2nd Royal Caribbean cruise, and also our 2nd on a Radiance-class ship. These are beautiful ships! We were extremely pleased with our stateroom (junior suite); it was spacious with lots of storage. The Reflections dining room food was excellent and the wait staff took good care of us. The Windjammer buffet is a bit of a mixed bag, but adequate, fast and convenient when you want to eat quickly and get back to the activities. Entertainment was good, but our main interests were the shore excursions, dining, and the most excellent Champagne Bar!

We dined in both Portofino and Chops Grille. Both meals were well prepared and enjoyable. These restaurants are a nice change of scene, and the food quality is maybe a notch up from the dining room. The service from the wait staff sometimes felt a little over-rehearsed....but still quite good.

Our first time in a junior suite; we will do this again. A very comfortable refuge for those who need some downtime from all the ship activity!
