Review summary
Overall impression of this ship was very positive. It was kept almost immaculately clean, with the exception of the smoky smells in the casino and some of the lounges (which we simply avoided.) The food in the main dining room was not up to our standard based on other cruises, but the servers were outstanding, as was our cabin steward. We chose not to take advantage of most of the entertainment opportunities, as we prefer our own company - but it was surprisingly easy to be pleasantly "alone" on a large ship full of people. Our relatively modest cabin on the 3rd floor was more than adequate, well worth the price, and also offered a pleasant perk: some of the waves splashed against the porthole window, which added a bit of excitement to the view!Pros: Spending quality time with my spouse despite being on a ship with thousands of people; friendly staff, lovely ports-of-call; excellent buffet in Windjammer restaurant; fine entertainment by The Coasters and Jeff the Juggler; excellent Spa services
Cons: Many areas still allow smoking; Internet failed on last day at sea
