The Odyssey 's staterooms were spacious with cleverly-designed storage spaces everywhere. Bathrooms with separate shower and tub. Loved Seabourn Square, the heartbeat of the ship, with library, conversation nooks, Internet stations, coffee bar with pastries, sandwiches and ice cream, & a very efficient concierge area with 24/7 assistance. Great dining venues, and an incredible 2-deck spa! Passengers tend to be well traveled with great stories to tell.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Great food with lots of variety. Many opportunities to dress up , but always places to eat if you'd rather be more casual. We sometimes took a night off and had dinner delivered to our suite, course by course.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
This is an environment where there is both a full menu of activities available and deliciously-honored solitude. If you need constant entertainment, an ice skating rink and high energy Marco Polo games in the pool, you need a bigger ship.
Children's Programs
1 out of 5
Not a great ship for children, unless they're exceptionally self-entertaining.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
As always, efficiency is the byword. I broke my glasses, & the staff sent a carpenter to our suite with his toolbox! Problems are resolved before you've even asked the question. By the 2nd day, all staff members addressed us by name.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Well designed, with Seabourn's signature quiet elegance. Soft colors with fun punches of red or black. Definitely an impressive , comfortable yacht , not a frantic floating city.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Though the Odyssey holds twice the number of passengers as its smaller ships, we never sensed the difference. Shore excursions are handled smoothly without lemming-like lines waiting for tenders.
Pros: Stunning ship combined with Seabourn's signature service
