Review summary

We would definitely travel with Virgin the next time. The app wasn't accessible outside of ship wifi once the cruise commenced, and this was challenging. Fix this and refine the shore "things" and this will be an A+. Food was spectacular.

Loved it except the shower is tight and would be difficult for a large person to get into and out of. High tech stuff is great.

The Virgin excursion was too fragmented- tried to do too much in one day. We crashed into another bus and the itinerary was interrupted, though there were no injuries. Virgin promised to "take care of us" but they have been minimally responsive.

Update: It's been approximately seven weeks since the incident with the tour operator and bus crash, and Virgin still won't respond to requests for a refund. This is very disappointing regarding customer service, especially as the guide on the bus promised several times that "Virgin would take care of us." I'm taking my future business elsewhere.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I completed a 2nd voyage to the Med on the Scarlet Lady last month and while I had a wonderul time on-board; there was nothing Shore Thing services could do to convince me to purchase an excursion on either one of sailings as there are no incentives to do so. Especially when most of the time you spend traveling to the destination or taken to market (tourist trap).
