The service was great, the menu was not. Save yourself and enjoy a meal elsewhere as you likely won’t get full here, and you may not like half of what you get.

The only time we ever had too much food. But how could you stop? Even more interesting than the food were the bar drinks they paired with it (at extra cost). Lots of tasty food served in interesting ways. Excellent!

We knew this might not be for everyone but knew we would enjoy it. We got the wine pairing which was a nice added touch. The service was great as they poured wine before every course and reviewed it with us. When the courses came they explained what it was and how it was prepared. See my picture posts for each course. There were five different mushrooms in the Mushroom. The Egg was smoke cooked and had a nice presentation. There was toast to dip in the yoke. There was a pea side for those that might freak at the Egg. The Scallops were nicely presented. The Beef was an interesting presentation. Many freak about it looking like a bloody madhouse, but it was delicious and not bloody, just a nice sauce. The Blue Cheese was delicious. It was like a palate cleanser. This might not appeal to some so there was an Orange sherbert palate cleanser too. Before the Chocalate dessert, we got served the Tokaji wine, which is a sweet Hungarian wine and a wonderful pairing. This was fun, but not for everyone. There is plenty of wonderful food options on board and not a lot of time to enjoy them all, so you may want to consider that before coming to the Test Kitchen. Food is to be enjoyed on this Voyage. Heads up, if you are still at port or near port, you may be subject to local taxes. Our seating was in Miami so Taxes were on the bill.

I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the experimental foods, but it was great. I'm glad I tried the eggs and peas once, but I don't think I would again. Every other course was great. I was very impressed by the meat. We did the cocktail pairing and they were good. I don't drink a lot so I didn't finish them, but they were interesting and very well paired.

They tried...but some of the presentation looked like roadkill on a plate. (think big red splatter with a medallion of meat in the middle) They offer alcohol & non-alcohol pairings to go with the 6 courses. I think some of the dishes were successful but some tried too hard. Worth the experience especially cause it's included
