Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Specialty dining was spectacular! Buffet was very very good. Main dining was ok, but not great, a little disappointed. Main course was good (mahi mahi) but the appetizer, salad and desert was runny and not very tasty. I did not go back to main dining after first night. Prior cruises from more than 10 years ago, main dining was spectacular , but now I think they have put that quality now in the specialty restaurant ($39 cover charge) . It was worth the cover charge, but it's too bad the main dining isn't as good, which is the food that is included. Buffet is very good, but the atmosphere, not so much, cafeteria style.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
I spent most of the time doing Spa stuff and being in retreat mode so not interested in most of the activities.

Entertainment

I didn't go to any shows

Children's Programs

no children

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Room steward Nelson was awesome, so friendly and warm and helpful, helped me feel at home, especially since I was traveling alone. Mohammed was also helpful and friendly. Also appreciated Spa staff, manicurist Jody, masseuse Mandy, and personal trainer Kaylin! I enjoyed getting to know each of them and felt very welcomed and genuine personal care! I also appreciated Sebastain who was very helpful at the concierge when I realized I made a mistake with one of my purchases. He fixed everything.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Could be updated, and a few more smoking sections outdoors.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Wow! This was an upgrade to deluxe so Very very spacious, bed super comfortable, bedding high quality, slept very well even while rocking because of rough seas. Very quiet and sound proof, soft carpet, lots of closet space . Refrigerator not very cold but was satisfactory for what I needed chilled. Lighting was good and bathroom was also good

Ship tip

Join the enclave spa club for the mineral spa, it was worth it , especially on a cold cruise when not being able to swim in the pool

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
Disembarkation meeting place changed at the last minute so it was confusing, and my transfer bus ended up waiting for me because I was late. I used the instructions left in my cabin and did not understand last minute change announcement . I was happy there were people everywhere directing me so I got to the right place. But I was late.

Sounds like she had a nice 3 day transition cruise.
