I'm going on Royal Princess Nov. 26, we were on island princess last Thanksgiving, we ate at the dining room and the food was amazing, the buffet was just that, a buffet. The food on the lido was just as good!! And sabontinis was spectacular!!!!!

Dublin, the experience you get in the dining room far exceeds the buffet. We went the traditional route and was assigned the Allegro room. A beautiful dining room which houses the Captain's table. The only night you will have to be dressed your best is formal night. Otherwise, it is smart casual. The food was sublime. I had very few complaints.

We (5 people) had all our any time dinners at the Concerto dining room and the food was very good to excellent. The last night we went to the buffet and had a very good meal also. The variety at the buffet is better but the service, presentation and quality is better at the restaurant.

Would you say that it is better to just go to the buffet as opposed to the dining room? I have been reading so many negative reports about the food in the dining room. I don't want to pack a lot of dinner clothes only to end up dining at the buffet nightly. We leave tomorrow. Thanks!
