Did you report your internet problems on board? If you experience problems aboard your ship always contact Guest Services. They'll try to determine the problem and solve it. It might be a simple thing like resetting the transponder in your hall. And if they can't fix it, they'll give you a refund and/or on board credit towards a future cruise.

We’re looking forward to our smaller ship cruise on Rhapsody in December. It’s an old ship from 1997. In spite of the updates it’s had people are saying she’s showing her age, but many folks like you really enjoy the service, the staff and the itineraries this ship still offers. There’s no comparison at all to the bigger ships. Fewer attractions, activities and amenities on board. There’s no such thing as fast internet at sea. But that’s one of the things we like most about cruise vacations. No internet, no cell service. The days at sea are quiet, peaceful and very laid back. It’s an old ship and we’re going to cruise the old way. As far as Windjammer Cafe, it’s a buffet, buffet meals can be hit or miss no matter where you are. Having very little to do every day at sea is exactly why we like cruises. 😎

That’s the one thing I love about cruising, not having internet

My guess is since you could not connect to the internet, that "ruined" your cruise. If you need internet that bad, cruising is not for you.
