Review summary

We had a great time on this cruise! For us, it was low activity (on purpose) and HIGH relaxation. Very enjoyable. I would like to see the deck chairs not picked up at like 4pm though. I'm not sure why this was a constant thing, as I personally LOVE being outside when the sun isn't beating down, but the crew picked up the lounge chairs starting around 4-5pm if no one was on them, and would even move people's items in order to pack up the chairs.

easy!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
I felt like the food was definitely a few steps down from the carnival cruise I took last year at the same time.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
This ship is more geared toward adults, with fewer of the active activities. But the screen for movies was LED so there was entertainment all day, which was nice!

Entertainment

I didn't go to many but enjoyed those I did!

Children's Programs

no kids

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Wonderful service and everyone was so polite and cheerful. The one exception was the formal dining rooms, where the servers seemed to be in bad moods.

Cabin / Stateroom

Would definitely pay for the non-obstructed view, as we were looking directly at a lifeboat. The room was great, but the sensor lights that came on when you were near the bathroom weren't great during the night as they'd wake up anyone sleeping.

Ship tip

Don't worry if you don't get off the ship. We didn't get off at a single port and really enjoyed the days on the boat with fewer people. We also spent a lot of time on the back of the boat on the Lido deck. There were great tables with views and breezes for playing games, reading, or hanging out if you didn't want sun.

Disembarkation

a little slow and chaotic, but I think that's normal.

Thanks for your review. Agree about staying on ship sometimes to enjoy fewer folks, especially if you have been to that port before.

I don’t know why they pick up the chairs every evening either. It’s typically much later than 4 pm though. They will let you stay longer in them if you are using them. They also leave out a bunch of chairs for watching the outdoor movies. Most cruise lines pick up chairs nightly. I think Celebrity leaves them out.

Staying on at a port is one of my favorite things to do. The pools and spas are wide open. Sounds like you had fun. Thanks for sharing.
