Review summary

We loved our cruise! It was the first Christmas cruise we’ve been on. The Regal and her crew were amazing. We loved our family dinners and drinks before at Crooners. The food in the Allegro Dinning room was delicious (ask for Dino, Schubert or Remi!). Yes, we missed Grand Cayman, oh well - if you’ve been on a cruise you know there’s a chance you’ll miss a port. We also had a medical emergency, the drink package and shops were closed for about 4hrs (I hope they are okay). The only complaints I have is Princess PLEASE pick up more ports out of Galveston! It’s nice to be able to drive and not fly (going to Belize and Costa Maya aren’t my favorite been several times). Thank you Princess! You made my family have a special Christmas.

Hectic but still made it on quickly.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Reimi and Schubert in the Allegro Dinning room were fabulous! Always happy to see us and would surprise my girls with mystery drinks and dessert. The morning we left Schubert saw us at breakfast and gave us a heartfelt goodbye. We will miss them! Henri at Crooners always had a smile on his face. My husband swears he makes the best “Old Fashions”, ever. Anytime he saw us he said hello and knew our names.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We didn’t do too many activities - sunbathed, played card games and went to the art auction.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
My husband and daughters attended a few

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Hermin our room steward was fabulous. Our original steward flew home on the 2nd day, Hermin came in after. He was so kind! He saw me doing laundry and teased me - “aren’t you on vacation” - I told him never with 3 kids.

Ship Quality

We’ve been on the Regal before and she still looks beautiful

Cabin / Stateroom

Clean and tidy, like always

Disembarkation

2 out of 5
It took us 2.5 hours to get off the ship to our vehicle. We didn’t mind but we are used to Ft Lauderdale and the quickness. It was just getting through customs, only 3 people working (just a little chaotic)
