Review summary
This was our 3rd Transatlantic on Princess. This was to No. Europe not to the Caribbean as your choice of ports were listed. The worst part of these cruises sailing over is the constant time change. We were 9 hours a head of our local time (Pacific ) . At least when you fly over and then cruise back, the time changes don't seem to affect you that much. That is the preferable cruise from now on. Our ports if anyone is interested were The Azores Islands, Cherbourg, France, Brussels Belgium, Rotterdam the Netherlands, and Copenhagen DenmarkEmbarkation
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
Vista Lounge
This was used for many functions...pre dinner cocktails, Captain's Circle party and when an entertainer does a second show. For this in particular (second show, the Lounge is not big enough at all
Concerto Dining Room
We were sent to this dining room as the Symphony was too crowded. The waiter that we had was very good and attentive.
International Café
One of my favorite places to have a snack (lunch) get good brewed coffee in the morning , and other specialty drinks.
Gelato
I had it once and it was yummy.
Horizon Court
It is huge, but the more we go on these ships, and learn our way around, the better it becomes.
Symphony Dining Room
This was the dining room we used on a regular basis. We always do anytime dining and always share a table with other people. Usually there isn't much of a waiting period to be seated, but it seems on Formal night is the worst.
Club 6
Afternoon Trivia was held there. Trivia is a very popular activity, so to get a seat, you needed to be there very early
Alfredo's Pizzeria
We ate there two times. The food is very good (better than Sabatinis and no extra charge).
Onboard Activities
Passenger Services
There were two problems in our cabin...the stopper in the sink wouldn't close and our toilet wouldn't flush properly. We did get the toilet fixed, but not the drain. They were prompt in calling for a repairman.
Internet Cafe
On this cruise, the new Medallion Net was being given a trial run, so at least Elites were given unlimited Internet which was wonderful. No more worry about minutes being used fast or having to log out each time. There were times that the computers were slow, but for the most part they were much faster than on other ships.
Entertainment
Princess Live
For some shows it was good, but when Trivia was held there, it was not good. Only the front row of chairs are moveable , so it was hard to get a team together to play in a circle. Also there are no tables so we had to use a clipboard.
SeaWalk
It was ok. I walked it once, but due to the foggy cold sea days, it was quite slick.
Princess Theater
This is much bigger than on the other ships but especially at the first showing or one time lectures, it fills up fast, and there is not enough room for the amount of passengers aboard the ship. Again, one needs to get there plenty early.
Movies Under The Stars
I went one night and saw The Post. The sound was much better than on previous ships. There is also a laser light show at night which is pretty.

Ship tip
The public areas seemed to be pretty cold. The AC was too high. I wore a cardigan sweater most of the day when on board.
