Review summary
This is only my third princess cruise out of 20 plus other cruises. The ship décor and amenities are ok but as ships from Italian shipyards go there are stairs that go nowhere, difficulty getting across some floors and lines at the elevators because of the limited ways to get around the ship. I find a lack of overall shopping venues and not enough things to do on sea days compared to other lines. The buffet was extensive and very good, we did not eat in the dining room and the specialty restaurants were average, in fact the pizza and Italian venues could have a better menu selection. Seems like the whole industry keeps cutting back on services, example you cannot use the soda package on their private island because they only serve cans. drinks are measured as they are poured so god forbid you get a little extra alcohol which likely costs them peanuts. The cabin size was good although lots of closet space but could use a few more drawers in the room. pool area on this ship very limited so forget about jumping in a pool to cool off and you better get there by 730 on sea days since everyone leaves a towels and runs. They need to enforce the rules about that better on this ship. Otherwise an ok cruise for an ok price. Entertainment was limited for us since a dancer hurt herself the first day and after that it was comic after comic.
