Garbage. RCCL knew boat needed repairs. Should have given refunds/credits before making us fly thousands of miles and spend on an expensive hotel and get trapped on a boat in port for 3 days unable to disembark. Free bottom shelf liquor for 2 days is not enough. Royal Caribbean had plenty of time to try to make this better. My husband and I wasted 10 vacation days on a cruise to nowhere. The refunds and cruise credit can never replace the time we wasted. I am pursuing more refunds with RC
Embarkation

Easy drop off. 1 elevator to bring your bags up to 2nd floor for drop off then go back down to 1st floor to embark. Delayed! Radiance had propulsion issues on the previous cruise from LA- all ports were cancelled so those passengers debarked in Vancouver for their 1st port day and many were getting back on for the Alaska cruise. Port workers confusing. Sat in the terminal for an hour waiting to board.

Due to the boat stuck in port Royal announced free open bar for Friday & Saturday 4/25 &26/2024. We booked the deluxe bev package and they told us we would be refunded for the 2 days plus 2 complementary days
As soon as announcement was made all premium liquor was collected from the bars as well as the drink menus. Bottom shelf only. No more Whispering Angel either.
Bar tenders did a great job but somewhat overwhelming since only 1 bar per cruise deck could be open while in port.
On Saturday afternoon they announced the entire Alaska cruise was cancelled and we would need to get off by Sunday 4pm.

Lots of them posted in the App. Unfortunately due to being stuck in port for Friday-Sunday there was no shopping or sales of anything! No casino either. Pickleball court was scheduled for 3 hours/day but outdoors. Rained out.
Welcome aboard show was entertaining and orchestra great. Too bad we were cancelled

All crew were superb. Couldn’t do enough for you. I would definitely choose Radiance for its ambience and crew.

All public areas in tip top shape. Loved the colony club. What a great vibe and space. Perfect for Karaoke. They should have had dancing in here. All areas very well kept. And clean and in good repair. I was dreading the older boat but it was fine.

Royal Caribbean canceled our cruise. Radiance had propulsion problems on the previous 4 day cruise from LA to Vancouver. They cancelled all of their ports. Saw it on Facebook group.
They emailed us that mechanical issues were being worked on but should not impact our Alaska cruise. So we flew to Vancouver and boarded. Couple hours later captain announced RC needed more time in port for repairs. We would not leave until SUNDAY. THIS WAS FRIDAY! figured we would see Vancouver but we were told we could not leave boat since there were no Canadian customs agents to clear us off/on the ship!!!??? Open bar with bottom shelf liquor was
Disembarkation

Disembarked on Day 3 after cruise was cancelled due to propulsion issues. Initially cruise was shortened from 3 ports to 2 and we were going to be refunded 2 days and 2 future cruise credit days. But 24 hours later RCL cancelled. 100% refund of cruise fare plus the same amount in FCC. All fees and bookings are supposed to be refunded too. I am examining the account page they gave us to make sure.
We also received free transportation by lovely coach bus from the ship to airport.
Easy disembark with our own luggage. But you had option to have crew take your luggage the night before as usual.
