I'm back 2 days, and I still have a food hangover. The buffet food was decent.The dessert station was a nice surprise with freshly prepared beignets one evening and crepes the next. MDR had amazing service and good food. My Time Dining seemed disastrous. The line was ridiculously long with no crowd management. They either let too many book the same time slot or they failed to manage walk-ins versus reservations. Aside from that, I had no other issues.

Rita's Cantina

This spot is the unsung hero. It's conveniently located near Windjammer, and since the spot isn't as busy as the other bars, the bartenders were nice enough to mix craft cocktails and had time for experimenting.

I loved the Brazilian style steakhouse. They did seven rounds with the option for more of any course. A small appetizer bar and additional sides (fried banana (not plantain), rice, beans, fried potatoes) All delicious but so much food. I expected better cuts of meat, but it was still good and definitely worth the money.

Radiance is an older ship. That was fine. It was clean, well maintained, and beautifully decorated for Christmas.

Cabin / Stateroom

Forward facing cabin was clean. Mattress was slightly worn, but I didn't lise sleep. I prefer the glass shower doors instead of shower curtain, but I also knew what ship I booked so I made due.

Ship tip

Don't sleep on the pizza in the buffet or the brauts at Boardwalk Dogs. Get to the theatre early for movies. The venue is small, and it fills up quickly.

Nice view overlooking the helipad. Standard cabin layout with sofa seating and bead under window. The room was clean. It was only rocky one day when the storm came up. The rocking was bearable, but I did have to take a pill to ward off sea sickness. I only had the one pill on Day 3. I was fine for the rest of the cruise. Room steward was attentive. The refrigerator didn't really work to cool. I didn't hear anchors dragging, which is sometimes a downside to those forward cabins. This one wasn't noisy. Deck 7 is a good location with an easy walk up to deck 11 Windjammer or down to decks 4-6 for guest services, casino, theatre, Schooner, etc.

Agreed. Chili and cheese would have made a great addition. Since the venue is close enough to the Windjammer, I was able to supplement the missing toppings. Caveat would be visiting during the hours the Windjammer is open. Your point is valid.

Thanks for the review. Yes the brats were good but they didn’t have any toppings other than typical condiments. You would think for a hot dog venue they could be a little creative. Sometimes the bun would be dried up out. Just depends on how long since the last customer. With a little effort, it could be a great venue.
