Review summary

The Radiance of the Seas was just the right size for us. There were never any lines at any event, or meal we chose to attend. Every crew member was very enthusiastic and they always greeted us no matter the time or place, The weather in early August turned out to be cloudy, cool, and raining just about every one of the seven days, but since we were coming in from a drought midwestern state, it didn't bother us in the least. I would definately cruise again on The Radiance of the Seas.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We ate at the main seating for dinner and some times we ate breakfast and lunch in the Windjammer. Both places served fantastic food with a very good variety to chose from. We did not go to any of the specialty restaurants.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
I have always said that the entertainment on an RCCL ship is worth the price of the cruise and this one was no different. We never missed a show\, they were all top-drawer!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We have cruised many times on RCCL\, but i can honestly say that every encounter we had on the Radiance of the Seas was very positive.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Size was perfect for us. We found The Radiance of the Seas to be very\, very clean in every part of the ship that we visited. For being in rainy weather every single day\, I though tthe crew responded in a positive way.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We were in a deck 3 cabin with just a large port window. Tried a balcony once\, paid the premium and then we never used it\, and that was in the Carribbean! In Alaska\, I just don't see the reason to move up.

Pros: We enjoyed the excursions.

Cons: The cost of everything on the trip.
