We have been there several times and there is allot to do. We went on the whale watching excursion this time and enjoyed it but would like to do again during the peak of the season. We ate at Bubba Gump's and had an excellant meal at Ruths Chris Steak House.

Don't Miss: Haleikala Volcano/ Mamas Fish House

We were disappointed that there was rain and ash from the volcano which obscured our view of the island. Not allot to see.

Again the ash from the volcano and rain obscured the island. I was not impressed. I did not care for Hilo at all. It was dirty and quite industrial. Not at all what I expected.
