Review summary

Start to finish, it was a great vacation. From the organized boarding to the disembarkation each day was meticulously planned and carried out. I don't see how it could be improved - smooth as silk.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The evening activities were geared to drinkers - silly games that only someone 'half in the bag' would participate in. It's not entertaining to watch grown men prance around in their underwear wearing women's bras. The Quest game was similarly silly - couples making fools of themselves. Some of the afternoon games - 'name that tune', trivia, etc. would have had better attendance if they had been offered in the evening. Many people drink lightly; some drink not at all. The Social Activity Staff were a great bunch. They could have been given better programs to work with - at times, it was evident that even they felt silly and ridiculous taking part in some of the activities.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Each and every member of the staff we dealt with was an Ambassador of Good Will for "Radiance of the Seas". They were friendly, competent, attentive people.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

Pros: The personable, professional Staff excluding Port Shops

Cons: The $2.24 charge for each soda and the overly aggressive Port Shop Salespersons.
