About a week before we left, we were informed that there was an air & water show in San Diego at the time our ship was to leave to pick us up in Ensenada. This show has been going on for years from what I've been told. So we would meet at the convention center in San Diego & be bused from there. Well...we were at the convention center for 5 hours! Instead of having groups leave as they had a bus full, everyone left at once. We were on bus 53. Our bus driver did not speak English & drove like a manic on the winding roads. Some people arrived in San Diego the day before & stayed at the pre-cruise hotel. The hotel forgot to put their luggage on the bus & those poor people didn't get their luggage for FIVE DAYS, until we arrived in Maui. From what I heard, the only thing Royal Carribean did was give them a t-shirt.

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The dining room times just weren't convenient. We have previously always cruise on Norweign & the buffet was always open. No so on Royal Caribbean.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Being at sea for 5 days, I think there should have been more things to do.

Service and Staff

Must take the Hana Highway

Pros: Great price, great excursions

Cons: We were kept in the convention center in San Diego 5 hrs. before we were allowed to board buses to take us to Ensenada to board the ship.
