We sailed in late May this year and had amazingly clear, sunny, warm weather the whole trip. Highs in the mid 70s every day. We enjoyed swimming in the pool on deck while we were in Ketchikan and Skagway. Our whole trip was Hawaiian shirt weather for me. Temperatures vary by month and at the whim of the weather gods. Also, different cruisers have varying ideas on what is bearable or not. Dress in layers — shirt, sweatshirt, jacket for the cooler days. Bring a warm hat and gloves, but also sunglasses and binoculars. When the ship is underway, the wind across the deck can cool you down and it is always colder when you are close to a glacier. Expect rain. Enjoy any sun you get.

I sailed in September. It was cool at night. You will want a jacket or sweater. Might not be shorts weather. Just check your ports before you pack. You can do 10 day at a glance on most weather apps. Then pack accordingly. Layers work!
