We have done a dozen previous cruises all on Royal Caribbean so decided to take the plunge with Cunard. We are really glad we did as the ship was very attractive and the quieter ambiance was also to our liking. We will definitely use Cunard again

Over 4 days we used the main dining room twice so frequented the Lido Buffet more often. Food was very good in both venues with no issues finding a table

There were activities listed in the daily programme but we didn’t get involved so have no comments to offer
Service and Staff

Staff were excellent very friendly, polite and efficient. Bar staff even came to reassure you that your drinks were on the way at busier times and there was a slight delay. Stateroom attendant was first class
Ship Quality

Very elegant ship which seemed a bit of a throwback compared to other ships we’ve been on. Most public venues were confined to decks 2, 3 & 9 with everything easy to find as you’d expect on a smaller vessel. Everywhere was very clean with used cups, glasses etc cleared quickly from tables
Cabin / Stateroom

We had a window cabin with a quite spacious main room and plenty of wardrobe and draw space. Bathroom was small and the shower had a curtain rather than an enclosed cubicle
Ship tip
If our cruise is anything to go by and you like more of a party atmosphere you’re probably going on the wrong ship 😉
Walked a fair few miles and saw the canal system, red light district. Book in advance for attractions such as Anne Frank’s House as you need online tickets and Cunard didn’t offer an excursion to that place
We kept our luggage and did self assist which was quick and easy. Helped that the exit point was on the same deck as our stateroom so no need to use the lifts
