Review summary

The best of course was a beautiful open ocean to stare at for days. It is a great crossing for an older crowd. some of the activities were a bit corny. The food quality was like a very good wedding. Don't be afraid to request or mix ingredients of the entrees .

The area felt like an old warehouse. the Bridge USA connecting to QM2 could use a renovation

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food was in par with a very good wedding. The buffet area was uncomfortable with everybody looking for a place to sit - very chaotic.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Good fitness center. the Promenade around the ship is great.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The National Symphony was exceptional - thanks to Anthony Inglis, who was very entertaining. The jazz quartets in the later evening were excellent. the Broadway performances were enthusiastic and entertaining - very talented performers.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Professional service - but not intimate. The were open to customizing the selection of meals - but we could feel their anxiousness. We also felt that the waiters were rushing the meals. ask them to slow down!

Ship Quality

the rooms and public areas could use a fresh renovation. My balcony steel framing was all rusted out. We had to ask the Stewart to clean the balcony glass.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Comfortable and clean. Since the cabins extended only one third of the ship, there was a sense of privacy. Great for one person. I enjoyed the balcony and fresh air. Also good that it was on the forward side and easy access to the elevator bank and stairs A.

Ship tip

Ask your waiters to slow down the meals!
