Review summary

Good experience and very spoiling. The Maitre D of the Britannia was terrific and very attentive as were the rest of the crew.

Embarkation

Would have been nice to be given a glass of champagne for free

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The only problem was the price of drinks and your services charges which were very expensive

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
table tennis, paddle tennis golf. The internet was poor and expensive and trying to log on and off was a nightmare with your paid minutes disappearing very quickly.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Excellent

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Very professional but a smile now in Reception would have been good. The Connexion room though obviously inundated with queries could have smiled a bit more too ! The rest of the staff were very good and helpful.

Cabin / Stateroom

We had 8041 with a rather limited view of the sea as we had a lifeboat in front of us! Also the bed shuddered a lot in this room - I did mention this at the Pursers Office and said no one else had complained - not that I was complaining but she did go off to see if we could have another cabin but the ship was full.

Ship tip

To recommend to friends to bring your own drinks and be careful with the internet and the service charges.

We arrived in Brookyn which was good and very smooth - great Capatain and very interesting and extremely likeable.

Disembarkation

Very slow getting through Customs in Brooklyn

Thanks for the honest review. I reviewed the drinks menu/price list and it seems quite reasonable. Are there hidden fees or were you drinking enormous cocktails? Is an all inclusive drinks package worth considering? I ask as a future solo male guest who enjoys a drink of an evening.
