Review summary

This was our first cruise on the QM2.  Everything was fantastic, from the food to the service to the many opportunities to practice ballroom dancing!  Highly recommend to anyone, though you lose time as you head Eastwards to London, so we will do the Westward crossing next time!

This balcony is "enclosed" but does not have a covering over the window, so in January it was so cold that we didn't spend any time on the balcony except for a few minutes. Plenty of space for our gear--I recommend packing your own hangers though if you have a lot of hanging clothes. This was a perfect location to get around the ship--it's very close to Stairwell C, which is quick access to both the Food court and the Main Dining Room. We didn't feel much of the ship movement.

Ship tip

For maximum time on the ship, consider the London to NYC crossing instead of NYC to London. We lost an hour every day, which was a little confusing because they jump forward an hour at noon every day except one.

We were able to get off the ship at 7:30 AM because we carried our own luggage-very simple and quick!
