Review summary

The Queen Mary 2 is a remarkable ship and all Cunard Employees were unfailingly polite.  Lectures were good and enjoyable, but get to them early for the best seats.   The ship is a real ocean liner, not a cruise ship, and was built for a comfortable journey, with stabilizers that can withstand the rough seas of the North Atlantic and our sailing was very steady.

Cabin / Stateroom

Our cabin was always serviced and cleaned in an unobtrusive manner, without any disturbance and there nothing was left wanting.

Ship tip

Get a cabin near a stairway/elevator for easy access. It saves walking long distances in the hall. It is quite a big ship. Also, get to lectures early for the beat seats as they fill up quickly.

The Brooklyn terminal was bare bones, so expect no amenities.
