Loved the ship - Very classy. Loved the wide decks and lots of relaxing reclining chairs, it never felt crowded.
String quartet and piano music appeals to the older crowd, which was relaxing and nice. Real flowers and changing of the lobby arrangements were nice and beautiful. The staff was kind and always pleasant to work with.

I've been on 8 cruises and was expecting the food on the QM2 to be exceptional, but found it to be mediocre, and not very flavorful.
The hamburgers were great! The steaks and fish were over cooked even when asked how we wanted them cooked.
In the Kings Court I prefer a more orderly way of controlling lines like a cafeteria, instead of people going every which way, people are not very good at waiting their turns and just push into the food bar instead of seeing people waiting in a line.

We did like the planetarium shows, we saw both shows and 2 movies in that theatre. There are many seats in the theatre that were broken which made it annoying and uncomfortable.
We only attended the first singing and dancing show.

Loved the ship, it was like an elegant Hotel, and just beautiful. We liked the window to observe the bridge. We loved all the elegant wall decors in the halls, the history of famous people who have been on the ships was fun to read about.
Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin was clean and taken care of. Beds were comfortable.
I did not care for the toilet paper holders, they were annoying, the paper was cheap so it would break easily and if you hold up the metal flap the whole roll would fall off. I would suggest better quality toilet paper for the type of holders that are installed, or replace the holders.
