Review summary
Getting on the ship was easy and smooth, however, getting access to our room took hours. We were only able to get one reservation to eat before 9 p.m.; evening shows opened doors late, and started late; only 2 boats were available for taking us to shore durring the peak time in Kona; people were sitting on the 7th floor waiting their turn as we personally discocvered, the boats were sitting partically filled waiting on more people to arrive. They did not seem to know the 7th floor was filled with anxious passengers and they took their time leaving and returnimg to the ship (poor poor poor communication); food was only fair. The islands were wonderful but the excurisons were poorly planned. Our best days were when we rented a car and toured on our own. Hawaii is wonderful and the itinary would have been wonderful if not for the poor coordination of NCL. Room cleanliness was poor and service only fair.Ports of call
Pros: Itinery was good
Cons: Getting on and off of the ship was poorly orginized. Too much of my precious vacation time was wasted waiting.
