Review summary

Just returned from cruise in Hawaii after avain choosing NCL after a fun time last year out of Miami.

What a difference. We paid a premium for a window room for viewing the islands but the windows on this boat (not only in the room  but all over the boat) are so bad you can't see out of them. Feel totally ripped off and disappointed and will definitely itely impact who we choose to cruise with next time. We tried to upgrade to a different room and got the run around for 2 days and gave up. Lovely islands by you will need to go on deck to see them!!! My advice...do not waste your money on cabins with windows.

Agree about enjoying the islands. No way you can see and visit these many locations in a week by flying. too much time would be spent in airports. We didn't notice bad windows as we spent time our on deck or balcony. Lots to see and on board or ashore.

Salt is hard on windows. Even though they are washed often the mineral buildup is bad especially on lower decks. Expect your view to be affected. Unfortunately you wouldn't get to change rooms on a fully booked ship for such an inconvenience. Good choice to give up complaining and try to enjoy the cruise. luckily, on that iteneraries there are no sea days and you are almost never in the room in daylight anyway.

Only one of the reasons I only choose balcony cabins.

The ship showcases American shipbuilding (at least half of it) and an All-american crew (mostly).

Sailed on Pride of America in 2008. Still waiting on the desert of the day, lemmon cake. Never again on NCL, too much went wrong.
