Review summary

My wife and I enjoyed the cruise. Good and plentiful food, excellent excursions, and a great balcony view.

My one complaint is a serious one that might cause me not to sail with NCL again - the outrageous cost of Wi-fi. Wi-fi access is no longer a luxury, it's a necessity. The cost of ship-provided wi-fi was absurdly high. Almost $300 for unlimited wi-fi for the trip, plus a $3.95 activation fee to add insult to injury? Really? I don't see why there should be a charge at all, but if there is one, make it reasonable.

Were you on port or starboard? We have always cruised on port side...Reading that starboard is better?

I find all cruise wifi very costly but understand due to special satellite feed that has to be tracked while in motion. I use my cel phone hotspot feed while in Port stops to get my wifi and email. The rest of the time I am on a cruise vacation and off the clock from all connections and enjoying the sights and activities on board. Sometimes you just have to hang up the phone in life and enjoy the world.

If u run a small business, daily email is essential, even on vacation and that price is pure rip off

a necessity? Really? You must not be all that old to where your life has a dependancy to revolve around the internet at home AND/OR on vacation. Dont blame NCL if you cant vacation without the dependancy of the internet. Maybe next time you'll do research before booking instead of complaining afterwards. A vacation is what you make of it!!!
