Review summary
We recently cruised on the NCL ship, Pride of America , through the Hawaiian Islands. We experienced four different ports during our seven day cruise. We reserved a rental car at each port so we could explore the islands on our own and not have to worry about a group of people. Each island that we visited had a lot to offer and the cruise gave us plenty of time to explore. Sailing was at night while we were sleeping, so each morning we woke up in a new place! This was the best way to see different islands and not have to pack up your suitcases and fly to another island. It was a great cruise, food was good, and very good entertainment. Purchased drinks were expensive to buy and a "service charge" was added to each bill. It was a great way to see Hawaii for the first time.Ship experiences

Ship tip
Get a cabin with a balcony so you can see volcano at night and whales during birthing season. Book excursions or rental cars in advance!
