a wonderful cruise

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

cabins very small, no dancing opportunities, alcoholic beverages too expensive

Pros: itinerary

Cons: super high prices on alcoholic beverages and no dancing opportunities

Recommends Pride of America? Yes!

We like to dance over a cocktail before or after dinner. This is the first cruise ship of 10 cruises we have taken, that did not have a lounge with a dance floor and a small combo playing dance music. Great disappointment. Reason to never use this ship again.
Cabin / Stateroom
bed was below average as was cabin size
Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Liberty dining room food and staff very nice. Aloha Cafe food presentation and selection average or below.
Service and Staff
Liberty Restaurant wait staff was superb (the highlight of our trip). Food was below the quality of ships on Hollland American and Celebrity cruise ships.
Kailua-Kona, Hawaii

Don't Miss: The local market and jewelry vendors
Kahului, Maui
Hilo, Hawaii

Don't Miss: Excursion to Volcanic National Park
