Review summary
We have been on many cruises. We were actully married years ago on a Norweigian cruise. But I can say this cruise was very disappointing. The food was not very good. We really don't care for the freestyle dining. We stood in line FOREVER to get seated. Dress regulations were posted in the main dining rooms but the staff never directed people in muscle shirts, jean shorts and bathing suit tops to other areas of dining such as the buffet. They were allowed to be seated in the formal dining area. This was also a repositioning trip for the ship and crew and they had begun the work on the ship so several nights we woke to the smell of terpintine so strong it made us both ill. One night we both slept out on the balcony. When we complained we were just told sorry we have to start working to reposition the ship. Well we had paid a large sum of money for a suite on this ship...and felt like we should have gotten to have at the least sleep IN the cabin, not on the balcony. We were never contacted by anyone from the company. We have sailed 8 times with Norweigian alone, but after this last trip will will stick with another carrier.Pros: The ports of call
