Review summary

Overall, this was our second cruise, and clearly the only way for us to see the major islands, since we have never been to Hawaii. It was a great way to get a good sampling of the major islands. We had previously been on a Princess Cruise to the Carribean, and they had much nicer decor and more upgraded daily newsletters, and on board entertainment. Overall, a great way to see multiple islands if you want to learn which one you want to come back to later - for us it was Kauai.

Ports of call

Kahului, Maui

5 out of 5
We had spent 5 days in Maui prior to the cruise, so we planned to see the Road to Hana on our one day here and then do some beaches the other day. We also planned to attend a Luau at Feast at LeLe - which is not part of the cruise at all, but so MUCH BETTER THAN THE CRUISE ONE! The LeLe one was sitting again with who you want and includes drinks and food, and dances from four major islands, and is only for 150 people max, so it is very personal. I highly recommend it for the overnight in Maui, as it was one of the favorite things we did the whole trip.
Don't Miss: Feast at Lele

Nawiliwili, Kauai

We did the zip line and the day explorer for the napali coast...both were fabulous - definitely recommend - lots of money, but a great way, especially the boat ride to see the island get to snorkel!
Don't Miss: Napali explorer

Kailua-Kona, Hawaii

5 out of 5
We rented a kayak at Kona Boys and went to the Captain Cook monument to snorkel. We also made another snorkel destination from our guidebook. Again, we rented a car here to see the island ourselves.
Don't Miss: Captain Cook was neat

Hilo, Hawaii

we rented a car once we got on the ship from roberts hawaii - and toured hilo and the volcano ourselves and rainbow falls and banyan tree park
Don't Miss: Volcano
