Review summary

The ship is old, not enough upkeep or staff, and if there is enough staff, they aren't doing their jobs. We have been on many cruises and this one just wasn't what a normal cruise is like. The ship had one of its hallways flooded from bathroom sewerage. Their was no hot water to alot of the ship. We never had evening housekeeping to our room. Our housekeeper took our towels a couple of times and left us without any new towels. Our beds were never fixed up at night. We ran out of soap. The ship was running out of certain foods. Every night they would change the desert menu from what they had posted. I think that a representative from NCL needs to look into this ship. They are not giving NCL's normal service. I had a great vacation anyway, but I wouldn't recommend this ship to anyone.

I think the food was ok. I think they are skimping. They never used to skimp. The buffets were set up wrong. When you got on line for the buffet, you came to the desserts first, then the hot food, then the salad. Very poor set up. They ran out of english muffins, certain desserts in the dining room.

Aside from the dining room staff, there was no going above and beyond on this ship. Not your normal cruiseship

Ship Quality

The ship decor was beautiful, but see above for cleanliness. I think that since they are automatically taking the tips off your credit card, the staff isn't working as hard as they used to. As I said above, I never had evening housekeeping. I reported it twice and received no satisfaction.

Cabin / Stateroom

Our stateroom was located in a great spot. Was tiny, but normal for a ship stateroom.

Ports of call

Kahului, Maui

We embarked in Maui. But after such a long flight we were exhausted, so we went to the beach for the day. Had a nice day, but wish we rented a car so we could have seen more. Would have liked to do something their on our last day, but they booked too early of a flight for us to do anything.

Don't miss Pearl Harbor, It is very moving. Honolulu is a very busy place

Good port for souveniers. Very Tourist oriented. The weather wasn't good, so couldn't do any water sports. But it was very beautiful.
