Review summary

This was our very first cruise for our family, we have an 8 and 10 year old. This was one of our best family holidays, far exceeded our expectations. Kids had so much to do everyday. Couldn't fault the staff, service and food. Weather and sailing conditions were perfect, which certainly helped make our trip so enjoyable. We would recommend Ovation of the seas for families and our kids were at a perfect age/height to be able to participate in all activities. We def will be cruising again in the near future!!

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We ate from windjammers, sorrentos (pizza) The Grande and Chic and always got our coffee from two70. Can't fault the food, there was plenty of variety and the menu at the Grande was really good and food delicious.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We used all pools, our kids pretty much did every activity. did the rock climbing, flowrider several times a day. They both loved Seaplex and spent heaps of time there. Ifly was their highlight. Roller skating was probably the only headache - bit chaotic with people trying to get skates and protective gear. loved getting the daily itinerary to check what activities were happening spoilt for choice!!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The quality of all the live entertainment onboard was top class. Enjoyed all the shows, the only downside was after pre booking Pixels and getting there 45 mins before show started to find very limited seats available, so didn't enjoy the show as much as we didn't have the best view.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Excellent service from all, especially Bernie and Savio our waiters at the Grande.

Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin was very spacious including the bathroom. We had interconnecting rooms with our 2 children. We would definately get a balcony cabin again as enjoyed being able to sit out in the fresh air.
